Many people attended our tomato tasting this past Saturday September 12th. , there were 6 entries brought in by McShane’s guests
to be judged and 10 brought in by McShane’s staff from their home gardens. Best of show was won by a bright yellow large tomato that was a lemon boy. People filled out Rating Charts for the 16 varieties we had available for the tasting. The overall favorite was yellow plum, with sweet tangerine close behind. Also very popular were Mad Hatter Cherokee Purple, Jet Setter, Sweet 100, Black Cherry and Juliet.
