McShane’s Blend
McShane’s blend is a unique top soil. Steve McShane himself, a soil science expert, engineered this high quality potting and planting mix blend. Available by the yard, McShane’s blend features superior drainage and it is well-balanced. It is mixed with red lava, cleaned sand, redwood bark and nutrient rich compost. The red lava is an ideal additive to soil. It is a porous material and will hold water and allow drainage around the roots. Lava is a relatively heavy ingredient compared to pumice and will not float to the top of the mix. McShane’s Blend is sold by the yard.
