McSHANE’S NURSERY & LANDSCAPE SUPPLY TO PARTNER WITH AMROCK MASONRY SUPPLY
SALINAS, CA—McShane’s Nursery & Landscape Supply announced today that effective February 15, 2009, it would be partnering with Amrock Masonry Supply of Salinas.
Amrock ceased operations effective January 15, 2009 due to improvements scheduled to Hwy. 101. Under the announced arrangement, Amrock has transferred inventory, fixtures and other assets to McShane’s Nursery & Landscape Supply. Phones and internet are being transferred as well. Clients of Amrock have been informed of the change and McShane’s has already begun working on transferring store accounts. “Amrock has near 25 years experience in the masonry business and the commitment McShane’s has made to offer a full service masonry supply was just the place our customers needed in Salinas,” shared Amrock owner / manager, Frank Tresch. “I’m excited to help them succeed,” continued Tresch.
Inside sales for Amrock Customers will be handled at McShane’s by Jose Samanez and outside sales will be handled by Dan Casella. “Masonry is a very specialized trade that we’re fully prepared to service here at McShane’s,” said Steve McShane, owner of McShane’s Nursery & Landscape Supply. McShane’s acquired Deco Rock of Salinas in 2006 and Antolini Company of Santa Cruz in 2007.
McShane’s Nursery & Landscape Supply was founded in fall of 2005 and offers everything for “Outdoor Living,” including natural stone, plants, fountains, pond supplies, bark, soil and design services.
